Okay cool but if GTX 1060 doesn't have ray tracing support, then it shouldn't say that a GTX 1060 is okay for this game in the description. It should say what you actually need.
will you build a custom shader for hl2/source as well? had to extract it from this and the preconfig bloom made the UI way too bright. HL2/Source games in general would be a better candidate.
if you don't have moneys to get the ray tracing support graphics card. then you are not allowed to be here. for no reason. if you are here for the real half life 1 rtx. then be here.
Minimum graphics card specification is gtx 1070. but the recommended graphics card for rtx half life 1 is RTX 3050 or any rtx graphics card with dlss 3 support.
if your graphics card doesn't support dlss. then it will have bad performance. soo running the rtx half life 1 with gtx 1060 6gb will have too much terrible performance. soo keep it in mind.

I get the error, couldn't find physical device with ray tracing support. I have a GTX 1650. You said it should work with GTX 1060 upwards.
u need RTX gpu to run it. GTX is very low end gpu
